In 2017, when TJ and Krista first walked through the doors of Vineyard Columbus Sawmill Campus, they were carrying the weight of church hurt. But instead of judgment, they were welcomed with open arms - seen and loved for who they truly were. Through small groups, discipleship classes, and the care of mentors like John Cook and Scott Engebretson, their faith, marriage, and sense of calling began to flourish.
In 2019, TJ completed a two-year certificate through Vineyard Institute; the following year, he was accepted into Vineyard Columbus’s Pastoral Residency Program, where he was mentored by Founding Pastor Rich Nathan. During that time, Krista led small groups and provided support for women through Support for Life groups, ministering to those in deep need of community and healing.
When the residency ended in 2022, TJ stepped into a new role as the Next Steps and Outreach Pastor at the Sawmill Campus. In 2024, TJ and Krista felt a clear call from God to plant a church on the Westside of Columbus.
Their vision is simple yet profound: to create a church where the unchurched, the dechurched, the lost, the broken, and newcomers to the area can find a place to call home. A place where people can discover hope, build community, and experience healing through Jesus. We look forward to connecting with you!

TJ and Krista have been active members at the Vineyard Columbus Sawmill Campus for the past eight years growing in their faith and ministry. As they sought the Lord’s direction for their next season, they felt a calling to plant a church on the Westside of Columbus. With a heart for serving and a vision for fostering a Christ-centered community, which was shaped by their own transformative experience, they are moving forward to establish a welcoming space that reflects the multi-ethnic unity of his Kingdom.
